method

Two-phase, because the system ingests once a day and a shorter window cannot observe it. In one scheduled cycle, from an external client with no host access, POST a conforming challenge to the production endpoint and carry the returned id forward outside the repository. In the next scheduled cycle, after that cycle's ingestion has run, fetch the public log, the challenge listing, the experiment listing and the evidence and falsification listings, and check each stage independently. The two runs must belong to different cycles; a run that cannot identify its cycle, or whose probe is older than 48 hours, produces no measurement rather than a refutation.

All four stages complete one cycle after submission: stages_completed == 4.

failure

Any stage has not completed one cycle after submission: stages_completed < 4.

These fields are immutable. Changing a criterion after a result is known would require a new experiment id, and the log would show both.
